meet Nicole

Hi, I’m Nicole! I am so happy you’re here! There is no greater joy that I have experienced than through my life with my family, and it would be my absolute pleasure to capture you with yours, too.

I have moved around a lot throughout my life. I grew up in a small town in the Midwest, moved to Arizona midway through high school and my last and most profound move brought me to Southern California. I always had a pull to be by the ocean and when I met my husband I realized why. We live here now with our sweet, curly haired (not so baby anymore), Aubrey.  

I studied fashion merchandising in college and worked in the fashion industry for 12 years after graduating. I have always had a passion for design, art and visual esthetics. My background in fashion has helped train my eye in creating beautiful thoughtful images. After I had my daughter, not only did I have an eye for visually beautiful images, but my heart saw them as well. I could see so easily through the lens the love a mama has for her baby, the warmth you can feel from a close-connected family or the fiery chemistry between two newlyweds. Photography is not only a passion of mine, but also a creative outlet for me that has allowed me to find beauty in everyday moments. 

My goal is to provide a relaxed experience while capturing honest moments (not just poses) with genuine emotion. I don’t want to just take your picture, I want to tell your story through my lens. I am so incredibly grateful you’ve considered investing in a session with me, and I promise to do my very best to give you photos you will cherish for a lifetime.
